2.3.1 For Maharashtra State Candidates
1. Candidate should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification as specified in rule
no. 2.1.
2. Appeared for CAT(conducted by IIMs)/JMET(conducted by IITs)/ MAT(conducted by AIMA in
February 2009)/ ATMA(conducted by AIMS)/ XAT(conducted by XLRI) for seeking admission to
MBA/MMS in the academic year 2009-10. Such candidates# are required to appear for GD
&PI conducted by the Competent Authority of Maharashtra State for academic year
2009-10.
2.3.2 For Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates
(Refer rule no. 3.2 for the definition of Outside Maharashtra State Candidates)
1. Candidate should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification as specified in rule
no. 2.1.
2. Appeared for CAT(conducted by IIMs)/JMET(conducted by IITs)/MAT(conducted by AIMA in
February 2009)/ ATMA(conducted by AIMS)/ XAT(conducted by XLRI) for seeking admission to
MBA/MMS in the academic year 2009-10. Such candidates# are required to appear for GD
&PI conducted by the Competent Authority of Maharashtra State for academic year
2009-10.
OR
Appeared for the Common Entrance Test (MAH-MBA/MMS -CET 2009), GD & PI conducted by the
Competent Authority of the Maharashtra State for the academic year 2009-2010.
Note:
@ To become eligible for admission the candidate should score 30 or more marks in MAH-MBA/MMS-CET
2009 OR equivalent score of 30 marks or more in the All India CET
(CAT/JMET/ATMA/XAT/MAT(conducted in February 2009))
# MS & OMS Candidates who have appeared for CAT/JMET/MAT (conducted in February
2009)/ATMA/XAT and seeking admission to MBA/MMS course against All India Seats coming under CAP
must fill in & confirm the application form for the CET i.e. MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2009 as per the
procedure outlined in Annexure-I. Only such candidates will be permitted to appear for the GD & PI
conducted by Competent Authority of the State of Maharashtra and will be eligible to participate in the
Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

Thanks a lot for heads up but i unfortunate to get a percentage to get in TY which is less then 50 but more then 45, which other exams can i appear for other than CET!

You can appear for the MAT exam and apply to those colleges which take the graduation score of less than 50% and take admission in those colleges.
I am not a student of Maharashtra university. what are the chances of getting admission in Mumbai colleges? There are 15% seats reserved for outside Maharashtra students. Does each and every colleges have different criteria and seats reserved for us?
